Feeling a little self concious of your self image? In all honesty I'm sure a lot of us do. When it comes to a photograph it's not always our fault. The camera tends to add a few lbs depending on how the photo was taken. If the subject is too close then the edges tend to bow out;hence, stretching the subject.
The solution? A professional retoucher, me (smile), will be able to fix the distortion caused by the lens. And voila! You have a more natural portrait of your own natural beauty. Further editing is always available to you.
I don't need to completely transform you at all. Just "correct" some things.
Take the photo above. I gave her hair a lift as if she blew dried it and teased it. To the left I tidied some fly aways. I've kept some natural strays for that realism of course. As for her face all I did was reduce the puffiness at her lower jaw just the tiniest smidge to help her feel better. And for her arm all I did was move the arm crease as if she was sitting/standing more erect. Better posture really. I also removed the undershirt and softened her neck lines just because. Just minor tweaks can enhance a look. Now how about doing these changes in real life?
Sit up straight more, fluff up the hair, and live with that natural happy spark in your eyes can definitely give you an overall glow.
But if you were caught in a bad time...then that's where I come in.
Go ahead and send me a message and let's talk.
My philosophy is that photography should lighten up the heart and the eyes with vibrant color, light and majesty as memories flood back into the mind and soul. No cringing allowed. Only magic!
